The interesting part was we were assigned a room on the 13th floor unti 13.
Off we went to Malacca the next morning, on the way passed by Batu Caves and a huge man made buddha structure. Made friends with some Hainanese aunty while waiting for the bus.
My gf was pretty good at looking after things. Everyone seems suspicious to her, including me.
Was a supposed 3 hrs bus ride, but due to road works and jam. it became a 4 hrs bus ride. With nothing to do, one can only sleep ...........
or stare into blank space
After reaching Malacca central late afternoon, we realised that the transfer bus has left without us and the stupid bus uncle asked us to wait at some corner dunno for what. Some P.R does help, managed to get some local uncle to help us get a cab to the hotel.
Century Mahkota Hotel. A resort like hotel with a homely feel. Rooms are pretty big
being the excited guy. First thing i did upon reaching was to watch t.v
The hotel provided us a with a nice view. while smoking at the balcony.
Evening time was where we decided to venture out to the night market at Jonker Street.
Twas a 15 min walk from the hotel. Along the way We passed by some old relics. Big planes, big train and a Big yellow fire truck.......
Jonker night market was a huge stretch of road in pasar malam style. From children's toys and books to scorpions and food ( sold separately)
