Spiderman 3

Well, where do i start? Better then part 2. Definitely much better. I mean 2 (villains) is better then 1 right. Technically 3, but since the third one repented, then he should be forgiven. Oh wait 4, the biggest enemy was Parker himself.

I love how the symbiote suit comes into Peter Parker's life and messing him up. The dark side consumes him and with greater power comes greater respect. The effects are breathtaking. I liked the scene where the crane goes berserk and how Spiderman rescues Gwen Stacy. Topher was spot on as Eddie Brock. The effects on Venom was simply amazing. He was like coming out straight from the comic. Sandman was well just sandman.

The movie does has its flaws. I mean the scene in the pub was just cheesy, simply a waste of time and they could have spent more time showing how bad ass the symbiote suit made peter parker. I was hoping for more one to one fight between venom and spiderman. Gwen Stacy's role was unneccesary, however I was hoping Raimi could recreate her death scene ala the comic.

Still no sign of a cameo from Black cat. Would be cool to see her jumping past in the background.

Like the review in the new paper. Learn to forgive yourself is the key word of the movie.

To summarise,

Spidy turns black.
Venom and Sandman attacks.
Gwen is redundant.
