Easter Special Post : The Shroud of Turin

Well over 2000 years ago this period, Jesus was found missing from his tomb.

It could be a case where he took a toilet break at that moment the tomb was opened, and since it was opened, he might as well make a grand entrance.... TADAAAAA!!!

But this post is not about how and when he resurrected....Its about the mysterious Shroud of Turin.

The Shroud of Turin is basically a linen cloth bearing the image of a man who appears to have suffered physical trauma in a manner consistent with crucifixion. And we all know who that was....

No no not this, I said a man..

The Shroud of Turin was believed to have been placed on the body of Jesus Christ at the time of his burial, and that the face image is the Holy Face of Jesus.  Here is a clearer picture...

In May 1898 amateur Italian photographer Secondo Pia was allowed to photograph the shroud and he took the first photograph of the shroud on the evening of May 28, 1898. Pia was startled by the visible image of the negative plate in his darkroom.

Many arguments have been made about the authenticity of the the Shroud... and honestly no one.. no one can tell us if it was really the linen that covered Jesus.. non other then the dude that covered it of course..
