80s cartoon Thundercats to return on Cartoon Network

The classic ’80s cartoon series ‘Thundercats’ will be returning to television screens on Cartoon Network starting next year. The new series, produced by Warner Bros. Animation and Japanese animation studio 4°C, will be using an anime-style format with updated looks for all the characters. Also, expect to see a whole host of toys based on the original series as well as the upcoming one.

Not sure if I look forward to it though, abit half hearted. Sometimes remake may not be that good.. However, it may also be a good sign that other 80s cartoon might see a revival, like M.A.S.K among others...
