Hot Toys: Loki

I get excited everytime I lay my hands on a new Hot Toys product. This time round, fresh off the oven. I have with me from Asgard,  brother of Thor, half son of Odin, The God of Mischief himself...

LOKI!

Before the unboxing begins, it comes with The Avengers paper bag.

Loki, in all its plastic glory.

It comes with additional hands and the cuffs as well as 2 spears, 2 staffs, and the thingy that shuts him up.

Look at the eyes, the evil eyes. It charms you even when he can't talk.

Looks like a dress, but it is not. Its the cape.

You know what is the most challenging thing about this bloody figure? It took me about 10-15 minutes trying to get it right...

Yes the bloody helmet! Check out this youtube video on how to do it right without breaking it. Looks easy but really it is a bloody challenge.

Is not this simpler? Is this not your natural state? It's the unspoken truth of humanity, that you crave subjugation. The bright lure of freedom diminishes your life's joy in a mad scramble for power, for identity. You were made to be ruled. In the end, you will always kneel. 

Overall this is such a beautiful figure. It should retail around $350 when it is officially released, most of us got it early from pre-orders.

Now to unbox my Avengers Captain America and War Machine.

Logos for Upcoming Marvel Movies Revealed

The logos for Iron Man, Captain America, Thor and Avengers was revealed recently at a event...

Which will then lead in to this...

Iron Man 3 hits theaters May 3, 2013, Thor 2 on November 15, 2013, and Captain America 2 on April 4, 2014.

Essentially, just plucking a number behind the original logo.

So there exists a guy who is insanely talented in drawing who drew this pic and shared on Facebook...

I saw it and thought it was an awesome pic, I should feature this to coincide with a movie review that my company is doing.

The results is mind blowing and amazing...

Avengers End Credits

Those who caught Avengers would have caught the mid credit scene featuring a prominent evil character from Marvel. But it seems an additional scene was added to the end credits...

Keyword is: Shwarma

After the battle, the Avengers team sitting quietly with no dialogue eating shwarma. Stark was not in his suit. Banner wasn't Hulked out.

Not sure if it will be added to the Singapore version though.
