So wednesday, I go pick up a new amp.. Well new is maybe to strong a word, it's and old Ampeg GU-12 1x12 20W combo, with reverb and tremolo, it's in working condition, but it need new tubes and a check-up, but otherwise it sounds great..




The guy cautioned me on the weight of it, and yeah it's pretty darn heavy, so I take it home, and then yesterday I start checking it out, turns out most of the tubes are microphonic, so I take off the backplate to have a close look, and I notice that something that looks like a bottomplate is crooked, so I pull it, and to my very, very, very big and shocking supprice, I find 4 WWII handguns under the plate, 3 of them loaded, 1 even had an extra clip, full of course..



So I called up the friend that I bought it from, and he freaked out, he had the amp little over a year, and never noticed, he even took over the Swedish and German borders a couple of times..

That my readers, is one good reason why second hand goods brings surprises. You nevber know what you will find
